Sean Sarvis is not just a Professional Standup Comedian - he also writes, directs, and produces. Sean created the "Gospel Comedy Praise Tour", and he is known throughout the Washington, DC area. Sean attended Crossland High School and Bowie State University.   All of his life, he has been a comedian.  His professional career began in the early 1990's as a secular comedian where he appeared on BET's Comic View six times. He got started as a Christian Comedian by doing a show at Glendale Baptist Church, and things took off from there.   In 1996, he was named the Washington-area Comedian of the Year. Sean became a featured guest on Heaven 1580 in January 2005 appearing  every weekday morning at 7:05am.
