Andrea
began writing poetry at the age of 14. By the time she
graduated high school, she had written enough to fill a
small book. After meeting her first music mentor, Mrs.
Amanda Hendrix, and sharing her poems with her in 2000, she
discovered that much of her writing was suitable for songs.
With this discovery, she was introduced to song writing.
Today, Andrea has composed over twenty songs, and many more
poems.
Andrea
has performed and recorded with Mississippi artist, Amanda
Hendrix; performed with Washington, DC artists Rob Mercer
and One Mic; and has opened for Lisa McClendon in concert.
Other venues include the YPF International retreat in
Georgia, "Closet Diaries" (a 4DRecord Production)
at Agape Cafe and other Maryland stages such as "Gospel
Happy Hour" at University of Maryland.
